There are many folks on the web that us it to download everything from documents to pirated movies. One technology that allows you to do this is called BitTorrent. You may be asking, what the hell is BitTorrent? In a nutshell, BitTorrent is a file sharing protocol used for distributing large amounts of data peer-to-peer. It's a process that gathers bits of the entire file across the Internet then re assembles it back on your hard drive when you download. It's a faster and more efficient way to get data from one place to another. BitTorrent can be you friend or your enemy, which brings me to the title and reason of this post.
